2024 Impact Report Highlights Critical Work Supported by the Lundbeck US Charitable Fund

  • The Lundbeck US Charitable Fund delivered $4.6 million in 2024 through high-impact charitable donations distributed across three key strategic areas.
  • The funding equipped 14 organizations with resources to advance critical missions in brain health
  • The Fund's 2024 Impact Report shares how those contributions have helped to meaningfully advance brain health and transform lives.

An estimated 50% of the global population is directly affected by a brain disorder,1 and neurological disorders are the second leading cause of death globally.2

The Lundbeck US Charitable Fund is dedicated to supporting organizations who share our desire to reduce the burden of brain disorders. We purposefully enable resources that provide wraparound support to individuals and families affected by brain diseases, improve disease education and care, and empower novel innovation to build a future in which these diseases can be better managed, or even cured.

In 2024, the organizations we supported made a tangible impact on lives every day. These organizations help accelerate ongoing community efforts within the Chicago area, address gaps in care through community collaboration to help support populations that carry a high burden of brain disorders, and fuel truly novel strategies for future progress to address barriers to effective care for neurological disorders.

This year, we are continuing to focus on these key areas of strategic focus and supporting organizations making an impact for the millions of people who are affected by brain disorders. We are inspired by these organizations’ persistence and ingenuity to address the burden of brain diseases both locally and globally. Together with community leaders, researchers, clinicians, advocates, and the families affected by these conditions, we will make much needed progress in advancing brain health and transforming lives – one person at a time.
